Reading: do people still do that?

I hate reading....   🤷🏼‍♀️

Happy Friday everyone!! Who else loved the three-day work week? Sadly, the 24 hour flu

going around caught me off guard this week! I loved catching up on sleep, but the symptoms were

 not fun at all.

How many of you have said, "I hate reading" a time or two? I know that I have said this

numerous times. I could never sit still long enough to get lost in a book. Recently, I started getting

into motivational books that have really grasped my wondering attention. These books include real

life advice, cookbooks, motivational authors, fitness, and of course christian books. We all have our

topics or authors that grasp our attention. I wanted to share just a few of the books I have added to my

VERY small book collection.

1.  Jess Sincero; Looking for a pair of books that have you interacting every chapter? Here are the two perfect books! At the end of each chapter, there are a few questions she asks you to answer. I wrote my answers right in the book, so I could look back and see the progress I was making.

2. Joanna Gaines; Looking for a book that you might drool on? Right here is the perfect fit! I cannot wait to experiment with some of these amazing, country home-cooked meals.

3. Lysa Terkeurst; Looking to improve your relationship with God? Take a look at Lysa's book, The Best Yes. She has written other books that are just as impactful as this one. Take your time reading her book and do the workbook along with it! What a great book to start the New Year off with.

4. Andrea Owen; I personally have not finished this book but the first three chapters grabbed my attention. I had to cover up the inappropriate title, due to taking it on the bus with kids, lol. This book also has little questions or side notes for you to cover through-out each chapter.

I hope you all take a look at some of these books! Some are even able to be read as E-books! What

a great escape from reality! Get lost in your thoughts and come up with some great ways to work

on yourself and your inner critic.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and enjoy the weather! ❤️

❤️XOXO❤️
